It’s interesting to watch all of the people these days who are offended by someone or something.
And, of course, some believe that if they are offended, those who are offending should stop.
So, all I can say, if you are in the offended camp, then, that offends me.
Only making a point. What happened to the notion of freedom of speech. We do not have to agree with what another says, but they have a right to say it – as long as it is not harmful.
Ultimately, we are all responsible for the energy we put out. While the words may or may not be offensive – after all most offense is in the mind of the receiver – the energy they carry is the important gauge.
Consider it a karma burger. What we put out to the universe will eventually return.
Ever notice how negative people only see and experience negative?
The same is true for the positive.
The golden rule still applies, so consider it an agreement with spiritual law. Give beauty, receive beauty. Give love, receive love.
If you need, give what you need. Life, especially from the Aquarian Age perspective is an interactive system.
We are creating our world constantly, and the power of words and actions are enormous.
What do you wish to create in your world today?
I was recently listing on the radio to two law professors discussing a recent Supreme Court ruling.
By design one was conservative and one was liberal in their political views.
It was striking that the overlay of political perspectives could so color their comments. Each ones view was strongly influenced by their perspective.
The warning here is that your B.S. (belief system) will color your view of the world. No matter how justified your view is, their is a remarkable influence.
The Aquarian has the ability to rise above such systems. Their perspective is more universal and can see the benefits of each system – as well as the negatives.
The Aquarian Age will see less polarization of political opinion and be based upon certain principles.
Churchill made an insightful statement when he said (to paraphrase) – If you’re not a socialist when you are young, you don’t have a heart. If you aren’t a conservative when you are older, you don’t have a brain.
In fact, the goal is to balance the head and the heart and to view the world from both perspectives, selecting a course of action accordingly.
This last Independence Day celebration in the USA was a memorable one.
Why? There was a release of records from the founding of the country. What this means is old energy patterns were released.
Much of it has to do with guilt. Some of this is earned and the rest not. We are always our own worst judge, and we tend to dump on ourselves far more than others do.
The same is true for a nation. The USA has an important role in ushering in the Aquarian Age, for it is one of the few places on earth that Aquarian ideals and consciousness be allowed to flourish.
Some of the guilt carried by the country relates to its origins in Atlantis, where may mistakes were made – but then that is part of the growth process.
More recently, slavery has been a basis for guilt. Why the USA seems to carry the burden for this, I don’t know. Not to excuse it, but slavery has been practiced by many people, nations over a great deal of history.
But the USA is the bad guy. Mostly because we have accepted responsibility for it and taken steps to correct – far more than most others.
But the release is the important think, and will help clear the way for the future.
The statement in the Declaration of Independence, “all men are created equal” was one of the first and most public statement of this principle. As a practical matter, it lay a foundation for human relations that is being realized more and more each day.

Observing the US federal government – there is a tendency for the government to do and be more for its citizens.
While there is legitimate need to help people, the US government is founded on the idea of government by and for the people, but with limited powers.
Perhaps the gov is ahead of its time. For when people in power govern to maintain power and to dole out that which it does not have, there is a train wreck in the making.
The Aquarian Age envisions gov based upon “self-government,” meaning that people need to be self responsible first, then for gov to do only those things only gov can do.
This is contrary to much so-called new age thought, which tends to a welfare state in which gov provides all that people cannot do for themselves.
We are faced with two challenges.
1. Government attempting to forestall all karma, by which no one faces the consequences of their decisions, and
2. Individuals and groups (companies, etc) doing what is only in their own self-interest resulting in immoral and sometimes illegal actions.
This suggests that the US government is ahead of its time, for it is based upon informed and enlightened citizens.
So what do we do?
Yes, appropriate regulation is needed and appropriate government services are needed.
Yet, until we get there it is best that government be divided between the two parties – a form of gridlock that limits the ability of congress to accomplish only that which both sides can agree upon.
Recognize that the Aquarian will be working to balance and synthesize the polar opposites, represented by the two parties. The result will be a blending of true caring and principle-based governance.
The government should not be an end in itself, but only a means to coordinate what is in the common interest.
A tough road to walk at this time, but the future will see a realization of these ideals

Actually, I assume you do. The cycle is inevitable, the heights it reaches is up to us.
The opening lines of my ebook – Operating Manual for the Aquarian Age states: The Aquarian Age will begin for you when you get there.
So, remember it is a state of consciousness. There are some on the planet today who are already there and they look at consternation at the world around them, then dig in to make it so for others.
Also, there are those with Piscean Consciousness who are doing everything in their power to stop the madness and progress of the rest of the world.
So it is not surprising there is conflict in the world today. As Shaw says, “All great truths begin as blasphemes.”
So it is.
Recently attended a lecture on spiritual principles. The content was good and the speaker well prepared.
The challenge in the Aquarian Age is to take our insights and knowledge and put it into action.
The speaker I heard was all theoretical. The Aquarian is ever practical – always seeking ways to make information useful – it needs to be applied in everyday life.
Even the most obtuse spiritual truth needs to be internalized and lived. This is not easy to do, but, for the Aquarian, is essential.
So, my recommendation is to find your own ways to live your philosophy. This next era is one of increased consciousness of self and others and the desire to use this awareness in positive ways for the benefit of all.
In the Aquarian age, the concept of the guru is out. The role of a teacher or counselor is to help you find your internal guru and become it.
Gathered this last week with a number of students and purveyors of ageless wisdom at the annual conference of Seven Ray Institute.

The subject was the emerging Aquarian Age – and boy is it emerging. Look around.
The strife we see in the world are but the birth pangs. Birth in the physical levels of earth presently involves pain and forcing. When this occurs on a planet-wide scale, it is the same – only more so.
Do not be discouraged. There’s a new world a’comin. Your job is to make sure you are doing your part.
You know – there are many oars on this boat and we each have one. Now, pull!
